Carol Ryan is a Senior Vice President and Head of Information Solutions for State Street’s Global Exchange business. She is responsible for information products including WM/Reuters Exchange Rates, the Private Equity Index, and SSC Universe. Carol is also charged with identifying and implementing new information product solutions and supporting the market data content and usage rights initiatives across Global Exchange.

Carol joined State Street in 1994. Prior to joining Global Exchange, she held senior leadership positions managing Market Data Services, Reference Services, Global Pricing and Derivatives Centers of Excellence (COEs). These COEs were 24-hour global operations businesses with staff in multiple global locations. Responsibilities included calculating NAVs, sourcing and delivering complex data market, providing project management, enterprise market data vendor management and contract negotiations.

Carol has 20+ years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining State Street, she held management positions at the Boston Company where she was responsible for a variety of fund accounting, client service and pricing operations functions.

Carol received her Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from Suffolk University.
